The production process is a series of skills, artisan methods and precision technology.

DiamArt is a surface made of micro diamonds, commonly known as diamond powder, which can be applied to rigid, semi-rigid or flexible materials.

DiamArt was the first company to introduce the unique, revolutionary concept of micro diamond surfaces, going beyond the conventional idea of a diamond as a single stone and the current limitations of jewellery, which allow the setting of diamonds with a minimum diameter of 0.8 mm.

The micro diamonds are partially mounted and placed side by side to prevent overlapping and create a single layer. This precise arrangement of the stone means every square centimetre of the surface contains the same number of micro diamonds, allowing us to offer products with a certified carat weight.

Thanks to the skill and experience of our specialists, the micro diamonds are positioned by hand and then anchored in place by a process of high-pressure mounting.

The technology enables the most regular surface of the micro stones to be placed facing upwards, resulting in a velvet-smooth surface.

Once the surface is ready, a resin backing layer is prepared using the material which will form the base of the micro diamond surface; this can be a technical fiber, such as glass or carbon fiber, giving rigidity or flexibility to the semi-finished product.

Every stage of the process requires the artisan input of an experienced operator who must meticulously oversee the evenness and distribution of the resin.

When this phase is completed, the diamond-coated surface is cleaned to guarantee and enhance its shine without affecting its properties.

The result of this innovative technical process can be worked with laser cutting or with numerical control mechanical processing to create customized shapes, according to the specific characteristics of the customer's project.

These can become beautiful details for application in the fashion, design, automotive or luxury sectors to embellish accessories, artworks and designer objects.
