DiamArt’s origin is rooted in the intuition of Isidoro Ferrari, a brilliant mind and tireless innovator who, after years of research on micro-diamonds, gave life to an idea no one had ever conceived: to transform the diamond into a precious, refined, and versatile surface. A vision that took shape thanks to the synergy between Elisa, Alberto Ferrari, Nicolò Fuser, and Giovanna Ghilardi, co-founders of the parent company Ferdiam Srl in 2014. The first patent in 2016 confirmed the uniqueness of its production process, opening the doors to new frontiers in the micro-diamond sector. DiamArt’s micro-diamond surfaces are not just coatings, but true masterpieces of precision—born from the perfect union of craftsmanship and advanced technology. Each creation stems from a meticulous production process that blends traditional expertise with cutting-edge innovation, resulting in surfaces of extraordinary beauty and quality. Laser cutting allows for ultra-fine detailing with extreme precision, while CNC machining ensures flawless edges and refined finishes. UV pigmentation, developed with proprietary technologies, enriches the micro-diamonds with unique tones, creating unparalleled visual effects.
As explained by Product Director Nicolò Fuser, “The micro-diamonds, thanks to the sensitivity and expertise of a skilled operator, are positioned by hand and, through a high-pressure setting process, are anchored individually into place.” Each micro-diamond is placed with millimeter precision and partially set to avoid overlap, creating a homogeneous monolayer. This precise arrangement ensures that every square centimeter of surface contains the same number of micro-diamonds, guaranteeing certified carat weight and flawless visual effect.
A defining feature of the DiamArt process is attention to the final texture of the material. “Technology allows the flattest side of the micro-stone to remain on the surface, creating a velvety tactile effect,” says Fuser. Once the diamond surface is completed, it is coupled with a resin and backing material, which may provide rigidity, semi-rigidity, or flexibility depending on the project’s needs.
The final stage involves meticulous cleaning of the diamond surface to enhance its natural shine without compromising quality. The result is an extraordinary material that can take on a wide range of custom shapes. Quality control is conducted using digital microscopes with magnification up to 200×, ensuring the precise positioning of each individual diamond. Every piece undergoes rigorous testing to meet the highest standards of brilliance, durability, and resistance.

The micro-diamonds used come from both ethically controlled natural sources and cutting-edge laboratories producing diamonds through sustainable processes.
